101 in 1001
the mission: complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
the criteria: tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
why 1001 days? many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. the key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
so here is my list:
lose weight (80 lbs)
complete beachbody power 90
complete beachbody slim in 6
chose a new beachbody program to try
attend a beachbody fit camp
complete at least one week of Tae Bo
walk the lakeshore bike path
go to rhythm & booms
go to music on the terrace in the summer
go have a beer in the rathskeller
get the second cochlear implant
learn to play a song on the guitar
complete 10 guitar lessons
sign up for 10 guitar lessons
drink 8 glasses of water each day for 3 months
eliminate red meat for one month
eat oatmeal for breakfast for one month
start a liquid diet for 4 weeks

publish in a professional journal
keep a daily photo journal for one week
send outdoor photos to family as gifts
have outdoor photos printed for gift sales
